When MFA is enabled you will require a password and a second form of verification to sign in to your Medtribe account. An authenticator app will work as your second form of verification for Medtribe.

An authenticator app generates a temporary, secure code for two-factor authentication, enhancing login security.

Before setting up MFA, download an authenticator app to your device.

Potential options include:

  • Google Authenticator (Android and iOS)
  • Microsoft Authenticator (Android and iOS)
  • Authy (Android and iOS)

These apps are available for free on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

How MFA on Medtribe works: a step-by-step guide


Setting Up MFA on Medtribe

Step 1: Login and go to your profile section

Step 2: Go to the "Security" tab

  • Click "Enable authentication"

Step 3: Set up the two-factor authentication for your Medtribe account

  • Follow the on-screen instructions
    • Install or open your authenticator app
    • Scan the QR code on your screen
    • Enter the 6-digit code from the app
    • Click Activate

What happens when you next log in?

Step 1: Log in with your normal email and password combination or via Google

Step 2: Enter the code from your authenticator app

  • Open your authenticator app
  • Enter the code into the prompt
  • Click Verify

Step 3: You will now be logged into your account
