Templates

Templates streamline the creation of forms, surveys, and certificates, saving time on repetitive tasks.

They enable quick certificate generation without crafting a new certificate for each course, and allow for rapid survey or form creation, with options to use as-is or modify.

Using a survey or form template in an event creates an editable copy for that event, ensuring changes don't affect the original template or its use in other events.

You can create Survey or Form templates in 2 locations:

  • Templates section
  • Within the "Manage Event" section

In this guide, we will explore how to create templates for Surveys and Forms.

More detail on certificate generation is available here: Creating Certificates.

How to use Survey/Forms Templates: a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Navigate to the "Educator" section

Step 2: Click "Templates"

  • Choose the template you wish to work on
    • Booking form
    • Application form
    • Survey
    • Certificate

Step 3: Click "Create Template"

  • You will then be able to create a form or survey
  • Give the template a name to identify it within your Medtribe account
  • Add questions and sections to create your template

Note: You can save any survey or form created within an event as a template by clicking "Save as Template"

Step 4: Click the 3 verticle dots

  • This gives you a list of options: preview, duplicate, edit or delete the template
  • Editing the template does not change any templates already in events.

Step 5: Implementing the template within your event

  • When creating either a form or survey within your event you will be given the option to "Use a template"
    • Choose from any templates that you have already created
      • This will create an editable copy of the template within this event

Conclusion

Templates significantly reduce the effort in creating forms, surveys, and certificates, allowing for quick customization and reuse without affecting the original.
